Trade volume began to decline in 2007, due to the cancellation of Romanian exports of petroleum products, following the introduction of customs duties after the accession to the EU and exit from CEFTA.


Exports consist mainly of: chemical products, machinery, metals, plastics, rubber, livestock, vehicles and transport equipment.

Imports consist mainly of: mineral products, raw metals, electrical equipment.

 

Direct investment: At the end of.2010 there were 40 joint ventures Romanian – Bosnian registered in Romania, with a total invested capital of $ 44,500 US. Bosnia and Herzegovina was ranked 123 in the foreign investor in Romania.


In 18th of December, 2008, in Sarajevo was set-up the Romania – Bosnia and Herzegovina Business Club whithin the Export Promotion Agency of BiH.
